Come On Bots....

Post by Admin on Tue Aug 24, 2010 1:13 am

I feel like having more bots to your website and/or blogs can be good for getting ranked higher in the search engines. I say the more bots, the merrier. What are some of your opinions on this? Rolling Eyes

I just need one clarification. For those of us who are unfamiliar with this can you explain what a bot is and how it can help you get a better ranking in search engines?

Bots are those little things that visit and crawl your website for new and relevant information. All the major search engines have them. Google, Bing, etc. Does this help clear it up some?

Oh right, yes that does make sense to me now. Thanks for clearing that up. So each search engine has their own set of bots then. The more search engines you are with the more bots you get?
